In this influential role, you will:
- Drive clinical excellence by partnering with leaders to align strategy, innovation, and operational execution.
- Champion physician engagement through collaboration, peer review, quality initiatives, and resource stewardship.
- Serve as the physician voice on the senior leadership team, guiding strategic direction and supporting organizational growth.
- Enhance community trust by serving as a visible and respected ambassador for Baptist Health Floyd.

Requirements
Education
- Board certified physician with current active state license, preferably in Indiana.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years as a Chief Medical Officer with both clinical and administrative staff leadership experience working within a 230+ licensed bed acute care hospital.
- Minimum of 3 years related experience in patient quality and safety
- Experience with CMS, ACHC and or Joint Commission, and other regulatory bodies.
- Experience in formulation and implementation of clinical practice guidelines and performance improvement activities.

Founded in 1953, Baptist Health Floyd, formerly known as Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, is at 225-bed, acute care regional healthcare provider with one of southern Indiana's most advanced comprehensive cardiac surgery programs. Its medical staff is well-built with more than 600 physicians, and over 2,000 employees. The hospital offers 69 points of care in a full continuum, from inpatient care to rehabilitation services and home care.
